Founder 

Crystal Call Maggelet is the CEO and Chairwoman of FJ Management Inc., a diversified family business that includes wholly-owned subsidiaries: Big West Oil, a petroleum refinery and Maverik, an 840+ c-store chain made up of Kum & Go and two fuel transportation divisions, Maverik Logistics and Solar Transport. She also serves as the CEO of Maverik, overseeing its operations and strategic direction. Other family businesses include TAB Bank, a community bank, and Crystal Inn, a small chain of hotels. 

In addition to her current board role as Chairperson of the FJ Management’s Board, she is a director on the Savage Services Board, and serves on the Liv Communities Board, the Organizing Committee for the Utah 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the Zions Bank Advisory Board.

Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.  She completed her college education with a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and has an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business from Utah State University and Weber State University. In 2018, she was named the national Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Family Business.

She is actively involved in managing the family’s charitable giving through the Call to Action Philanthropies, with a focus on affordable housing, early childhood education, food security, and scholarships.

In her free time, Crystal enjoys traveling, skiing, running, and spending time with her family.
